Vinka orchestrates a variety of on-demand services in Seinäjoki

Vinka’s fleet orchestration platform is optimising on-demand transport services for the city of Seinäjoki. The services include on-demand shuttles – open for public transport, groups transport services for schools and senior activity centres and a taxi services for special needs transportation. The service set-up is uniquely designed to match with Seinäjoki’s use cases.

The service has been active since September 2021 and has already orchestrated over 12.000 rides. The technology for the service is provided in co-operation with Sitowise.

Seinäjoki is a very interesting show case of Vinka’s platform’s scalability. Three very different services are operated on a single platform with partly shared fleet resources. Seinäjoki is definitely more than meets the eye, says Peitsa Turvanen, the CEO of Vinka.
